WhimsiBeans™ didn’t begin as a business plan. It began at our kitchen table, in the middle of everyday life.
Last spring, our oldest daughter received her autism diagnosis. She is nonspeaking, uses an AAC device to communicate, and has taught our entire family what it truly means to slow down, tune in, and meet children exactly where they are. Our days are filled with speech therapy, equine therapy, sensory supports, and a lot of intention around helping her feel safe, confident, and supported.
As our family learned more about her needs, feeding became a bigger question mark. Picky eating is common in childhood, but when you add sensory sensitivities or restrictive eating, mealtimes can quickly feel overwhelming.

I’m a mom of three girls (with one more joining us soon), married to my husband, Gehrig Dieter, and the founder of WhimsiBeans™.
Our family is active, loud, love-filled, and deeply rooted in making memories together at home. Like many parents, we juggle school pick-ups, therapies, busy schedules, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with raising kids. And like so many families, nutrition has been a meaningful and sometimes challenging part of our journey.
hi, I'm meg!
Years earlier, during my girls’ toddler years, I stumbled on a small mom hack that surprisingly worked every time. When a food felt unfamiliar — scrambled eggs, yogurt, risotto — I’d add a few sprinkles on top.
It sounds a little wild, I know. But the sprinkles made the food feel familiar. Safe. Fun. After a few tries, my kids realized they actually liked what was underneath.
That tiny moment stayed with me. As our feeding journey evolved, I started wondering what would happen if I could recreate that same sense of comfort without sugar, artificial dyes, or unnecessary ingredients. What if sprinkles didn’t just make food fun, but actually added something good?
So I Googled “vitamin sprinkles.” And to my surprise, they didn’t exist. That was the moment WhimsiBeans™ became more than an idea.
After connecting with feeding therapists and pediatric dietitians, the concept became even clearer. Kids, especially sensory-sensitive kids, thrive on consistency and predictability. Crunchy textures feel safe. Familiar formats build trust. And small, joyful routines can make a big difference over time.
WhimsiBeans™ are sprinkle-form multivitamins created with sensory-sensitive kids in mind, while remaining approachable and beneficial for neurodivergent and neurotypical children alike. They’re designed to be added to foods kids already love or enjoyed on their own as a tiny daily treat.
Traditional supplements don’t work for every child. Pills can feel intimidating. Gummies can be sticky or overwhelming. Powders can be gritty or strongly flavored.
WhimsiBeans™ offer a different approach; one rooted in familiarity, ease, and joy. No pills. No sticky gummies. No chalky powders. Just predictable, crunchy, bite-sized sprinkles that fit naturally into real life.
WhimsiBeans™ were developed alongside pediatric dietitians and informed by feeding therapy principles, with careful attention to formulation, texture, and flavor. Each daily serving includes essential vitamins and nutrients to support growing kids, made with gentle, thoughtfully sourced ingredients.
Every detail was considered with children in mind, and with parents who want to feel confident about what they’re offering, without adding pressure to the table.
WhimsiBeans™ aren’t about perfection. They’re about progress.
They’re a bridge for selective eaters. A small daily win for parents.
A way to support nutrition when feeding feels hard. Built from real life and real love, WhimsiBeans™ exist to help families move forward with a little more ease and a lot less stress.
Whether your child is a selective eater or simply prefers their food to be a little extra fun, WhimsiBeans are here to help make nutrition feel less like a battle and more like a celebration. You're doing an amazing job.
